Grasshopper | Polygon Gradient ( Voronoi Gradient )

definition file : Polygon_gradiant.ghx

Hi Yoon,

Why when I tried to open you definition, it didn't load?!

I am really obssessed with your techniques, could I somehow read your file more clearly?!

Thanks so much.

Regards.

Hi Marshal,

The ghx file is for Grasshopper 0.6.0019. If you use 0.5.0099, try WIP(0.6.0019) version.

Hi Yoon,

I'm also really intereested in you voronoi file. This is exactly the type of pattern i've been trying to create. I'm still a beginner and really new to grasshopper, I was wondering if you knew how I could take this pattern definition you created and apply it to a surface. I have been trying to figure this out but have had no luck so far. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Hi fifi,
You can use surface morph component to apply flat patterns onto a surface.

Hi Sanghoon Yoon,
First of all, thanks for sharing your knowledge and your stunning grasshopper skills. I'm looking for a definition like yours but applied to a 3D shape. For example, instead of making the voronoi tesselation in a plane, making it from a cloud made of points. Is it too hard to acomplish it? Thanks very much

Hi Sebas,
Well, sure you can do it on 3D shape too. I did it two years ago with Grasshopper so it will not run on current version. I'll check my old file if I still have.
